There's a lot of noise coming from the next door neighbor's apartment. As things are being smashed against the wall, and an angry man is screaming, a young woman's faint and desperate voice is softly heard saying "help me, he's going to kill me"....
I should probably go over and help, or call the police, but I don't want any trouble. Who am I to get involved?
The train came through town again with Jews headed to the camp. Many of them were my friends before the new laws were enacted. It's not right what is happening to them, but I can't control what the government decides to do. ...As ashes fall like snowflakes, I fear the worst, but who am I to speak up?
We are on day thirty-nine of those Philistines taunting us. It's only a matter of time before Goliath and his men slaughter us. Young David seems to think we're all over-reacting, but we just laugh at his youthful idealism and misplaced faith. I don't want to die at the hands of the Philistines any more than he does, but who am I but one man against an army?
It's year thirty-nine of that murderous court opinion, and I watched fifteen pregnant women enter that clinic today. It's sad what happens inside that place. I could vote for a candidate who is committed to shutting down those places, but you don't know how much grief I would get from my friends who think that vote will backfire and get Obama elected. I know Romney is not truly pro-Life for all human babies, but maybe he'll stop a few babies from dying. Besides, who am I but one voter?
The Bible doesn't promise us that we won't face struggles or seemingly impossible challenges. But it does hold promises for those who take the upright path.
(Proverbs 2:20-21) The Bible also doesn't say that we have the option of supporting compromise and evil, simply because we label it "the lesser of two evils".
By now, you've probably read every vile reason why you shouldn't be endorsing Obama or Romney to lead this Nation.
Are you content to go about your business while Anne Frank hides in the dark? Are you a David or a future victim of the Philistines? Are you content sacrificing a few because you think it's too difficult to save them all?
There is a better way, but we're running out of time.
So... WHO ARE YOU?
