Equality is for the individual. No individual in the 21st Century has ever been denied the right of Marriage. What has been denied is the ability for any individual or group to change what Marriage is.
'Same-sex marriage' is an oxymoron, UNLESS you ignore religion... and 6,000 years of history.... and the Laws of Nature. Ignore all of those and it is whatever you decide it is. But if God Almighty Himself brought woman to man, and His Son Y'shua/Jesus Christ spoke of that union as a man and his wife, who among us has the authority to alter it? There is no such person who possesses such authority.
Genesis 19: 23By the time Lot reached Zoar, the sun had risen over the land. 24Then the Lord rained down burning sulfur on Sodom and Gomorrah—from the Lord out of the heavens. 25Thus he overthrew those cities and the entire plain, destroying all those living in the cities—and also the vegetation in the land. 26But Lot’s wife looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.
To think we can reject God and nature without consequence is foolish. We have liberal politicians using the label "pro-Life" as a slur, as if it is wrong to be For-Human-Life. We have people cheering in the streets over homosexuality as our President calls it an "equality" issue. God will not be mocked, and though we as a Nation have enjoyed an ample amount of grace and mercy and blessings in contrast to many places around the globe, we would be foolish to assume that the One who is the same- Yesterday, Today, and Forever, has somehow decided such abominations are now permissible simply because of popular opinion and judicial activism.
